Hydraulic Throw out Bearing

We just received our throw out bearings from Howe. One of these 2 types is going on the car, depending on which fits the best.

Steering column

Steering column  is mounted, it is build together by parts from Toyota Corolla EE90 and Prince.
The steering column is collapsible, for better safety.
All parts is sponsored by Hørning Autolager.

Water system

The work on the water system has started, and hopefully it will be done within the next 2 days.

Precise measurements

Gearbox and engine pattern is now measured extremely precise, by Prodan who is able to measure down to 2,5 micron in accuracy, with their 3D coordinate measure machine.
The machines foot is made of one solid 6 ton granite plate.

Wheels test mounted

After new wheel bearings, and converting the wheel nuts from 3/8 to M12 the old wheels is test-mounted.
  

Exams are done for second semester

The exams are now over and we can proudly present that a total of 10 students got the grade 7;  The better grade 10 was handed to 7 students and no less than 6 students scored the best - 12. We, both as students and teachers, are proud of these results which resulted in an average grade of 7,86.

The exam projects were:
Suspension, Engine Control Unit (ECU), Crash box, Anti Lock Braking system (ABS), Gearbox, Gurney and Datalogging.

Furthermore there were questions about safety, ignition timing, dry sump lubrication, negotiation techniques, bumpsteer, situational leadership and other exciting subjects.
